FEAST FolkArt and Food Camps 2016
Here's this year's description from Bards and Bread Camp
Crumpets, hot cross buns, Lardy Cake, Lincolnshire Plum. The breads of the British Isles evoke poetry. Bara Brith, bannock, and oat farls --a poetry of place and sustained baking traditions. We’ll make our breads using whole grains and fruits of the season, learning the Oldways while honing our baking skills. All the while spinning out yarns together from the folktales of Ireland, Wales, Scotland and England, learning tricks of bard-craft through stories of tricksters, magic, daring, and noble deeds.
Camp is from 10-3pm. All food and drink is provided.
Cost is $200 pre-registration required.
